Restart Redo!

August 24, 2019

So, it has been a while and I feel like a person that has been lost and coming back for what I have started… It has been one busy and eventful summer and as we are getting ready to dive into fall (wait its still like a month away!) I have been feeling very inspired and regenerated to restart. The summer has been filled with adventure and I am very thankful for that.  We have had many projects underway some crafting and some wrenching ha! We have been gathering desert toys and been having fun under the sun riding quads and dirt bikes that we have curated from craigslist for cheap and fixed up.  More on this later… I have been trying to become a better person at documenting what we do because we have completed so many cool projects and things that either no one believes us, or we do not believe ourselves.

The start to the schoolyear was fast and furious but we are settling in as both my husband and I work for the school district so our lives revolve around that calendar…for now.

Our little city suffered a tragedy this summer and we are still in disbelief that this could have happened in our town.  We have lost the lives of 22 souls at the hands of misunderstanding, hate, and irrationality.  Yet our little city did not respond with hate and misunderstanding but with love and support.  It was very consoling to see how our city has reacted to helping others affected and we have only grown to become an even better place.  We are El Paso and the new phrase is El Paso Strong and I like it.

At this point it is all for now, but I will be posting more often and sharing our projects and things we have been able to do at an understandable budget and acquire awesome things and get things done!  New products will be hitting my shop because fall is somewhere in the near horizon and it is time to get cheeky and crafty!  Keep it cheeky!
