Librarian Appreciation Gift

April 6, 2019

Showing appreciation never gets outdated. In case you missed it, the National School Librarian appreciation day was April 4th, but you still have next week to celebrate National Library Week as well as April 16th which is National Librarian Day.

Librarians offer learning opportunities to all learners from all backgrounds. They inspire students to become readers and deepen that thirst for literature and knowledge.

Here is a little idea in case you want to let your librarian know how much you appreciate them. Especially my librarian because she always helps me out and would let me have dibs on the schedule! Plus she has a great sense of humor.

I made this from a few pretty pieces I had around my creative mess. Using my Cricut Maker and the Cricut Design Space I made a book shape out the shapes and overlayed the font.

After cutting out the book shape with the phrase I tried out a few different pieces to see what looked best. You can choose to put the school color or your Librarian’s fav color. Glue your pieces together and you have a thoughtful gift for your favorite Librarian!
